FAMILY-FIRST. FUNCTIONAL.
We are SunSpot.
Meet Tristan and Maelle. New parents, outdoor lovers, and the duo behind SunSpot.
It all started after one chaotic, sun-soaked beach trip with their little one, where they realized there had to be an easier way to carry everything. That’s when the idea for a 2-in-1 beach tote with a built-in blanket was born!

I quite like this beach bag. It's spacious and lightweight, soft and easy to fold/store. If this bag gets wet, it would dry really quickly and not attract any odors. Note that the bag is not waterproof and will not protect your belongings from absorbing moisture if the bag is set down on damp sand.I was able to stuff 6 large beach towels in the mouth of the bag, so I'm really pleased with the storage capacity. The addition of 4 slip in pockets and two zipper pockets only improves its functionality. This particular beach bag has a large zipper pouch that zips up from the bottom of the bag (I find this to be strange), and this pouch holds the beach blanket. The blanket is plenty large for a couple with family and a small kit to stretch out. The zippers are average quality, and you will probably want to keep these from getting too sandy.Overall I'm pleased with this beach bag, and am confident in its strength to hold whatever I toss into it this coming summer season.
We got the beige bag for our guest cottage as we didn't have a proper beach blanket for visitors. This has a been a game changer because the included blanket doesn't collect sand nor does the bag. Sand just slides off the blanket and falls through the mesh material of the bag. So even if your towels have sand, things stay pretty neat without bringing half the beach back into your car or dwelling. It keeps me from vacuuming up less sand after guests leave. The tote is large and roomy, has a great organizational design with a zippered inner solid canvas type material secure pocket and several exterior mesh pockets. Unique design has the blanket stored in its own bottom double zipped pocket. Good carrying handles that are comfortable in the hand or over the shoulder. The large striped blanket folds out and you can keep it attached to the bag with the velcro strap or not. Included are four wind stakes to secure the looped tab corners down. The blanket is thin and light as is the bag but both very sturdy. Too much suntan lotion stains, no worries, bag and blanket are machine washable. We recommend this as a very reasonable value for the money and are impressed as you will be too. Get it!
Love my Sunspot tote! I take it surfing every time!
This bag is just perfect for picnics, beach days, grilldays, camping, even as a tote for groceries is perfect.
It has a good size (bought the medium one) and the best part is that also the pockets are big, and for the cherry on top: the blanket with the stakes, perfect idea for windy days.
his bag is seriously oversized—comically larger in person than it looks in the product photos. That said, it’s incredibly useful for beach days, picnics, or even road trips when you need to haul a lot of gear. The pull-out blanket is a great bonus, and the waterproof layers and zipper compartments make it practical and organized.
Pros:
Massive capacity. You can fit towels, snacks, clothes, toys—basically everything and probably still fit the kitchen sink.
Pull-out blanket is super handy. Great for beach or park use.
Waterproof and organized. Interior compartments and layers help keep things clean and dry.
Cons:
Larger than expected. Be ready—it’s big. I wish I'd have got the medium.
Bottom Line:
If you need a serious carry-all for the beach or outdoor activities, this delivers. Just know what you're signing up for—it’s a beast of a bag.
We loved the bag I will be posted the video today! We had a cute date evening at the beach with it
